DESCRIPTION:We at St. Luke’s are serious about baptism. We believe that there should be no barriers to receive the sacrament pf rebirth (Baptism). Our church doors are open to anyone (all ages) who wishes to be baptized. \nThere wille be a short class at 9 a.m. on the meaning and purpose of Baptism followed by a festive service at 10 a.m. that includes Baptism and Holy Communion. \nContact Fr. DESCRIPTION:Saturdays | 10 a.m. | Parish Hall & Zoom\nMeetings maybe canceled due to member availability. \nOpen to all faiths and skill levels\, the prayer shawl ministry at St. Luke’s knits/crochets a variety of handmade goods to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. Items produced include prayer shawls\, lap blankets\, baby blankets\, hats\, scarves\, and other items. The ministry also raises funds and donates knitted items to A Woman’s Place in Doylestown\, each year through their participation in Newtown’s Market Day and St. Luke’s annual charity Christmas Bazaar. SUMMARY:Installation of the New Vestry Members
DESCRIPTION:The new members of the Vestry will be officially installed during the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. masses on Sunday\, May 10\, 2026.  \nThe vestry consists of twelve laypeople elected to serve a three-year term. Each member is charged with overseeing an important aspect of the church’s business through various committees. These committees include but are not limited to: Property\, Finance\, Stewardship\, Hospitality\, Communications\, Altar Guild\, Vacation Bible School\, and ECW. Along with committee duties\, the Vestry is an important liaison between the parish and the diocese when searching/hiring a new parish rector. \nIn order to serve on the vestry\, members must have been confirmed in the Episcopalian church\, are in good standing\, and are active members. The vestry meets once a month to discuss and vote on important church business. \nWe thank them in advance for their service to the church.
